Aladdin

Pantomime warms the hearts of children and families during the Christmas holidays. In 2012 as part of Rhonnda Cynon Taff's local pantomime production "Aladdin" I was able to be part of the costume team. I interpreted the designs for Prince Ali, Jasmine and Wishee Washee. Costumes for pantomime proves a fast paced and exciting experience. The costumes aim to transport the audience to their childhood and into a land of princes and princesses, as well as being an essential part of the slapstick humour. In addition to creating the costumes I also took part in the overall running of the production, from quick changes to the set up of the wardrobe department, make-up and alterations.
